Trent Reznor and Atti­cus Ross will com­pose the score for the Boston Marathon bomb­ing film star­ring Mark Wahlberg.
Direc­tor Peter Berg announced the news Sat­ur­day on Insta­gram, say­ing, “I couldn’t be more hon­ored than to be work­ing with these two straight-up genius artists.”

For those unfa­mil­iar with the Boston Marathon bomb­ing. The Boston Marathon bomb­ing was a ter­ror­ist attack, fol­lowed by sub­se­quent relat­ed shoot­ings, that occurred when two pres­sure cook­er bombs explod­ed dur­ing the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013. The bombs explod­ed about 12 sec­onds and 210 yards (190 m) apart at 2:49 pm EDT, near the marathon’s fin­ish line on Boyl­ston Street. The explo­sion killed 3 civil­ians and injured an esti­mat­ed 264 oth­ers.
